Our Team Members not only leave peace for clients, they go above and beyond…
One of our cleaning techs was scheduled to clean for her regular weekly client. When she got to the home, there were a lot of packages on the porch and no one was answering the door. She tried knocking on the door several times, but still no answer. She thought it was really strange because the client was always home every week. It was also strange because the cleaning tech knew the client always received a lot of packages, but they were never just left on the porch.
When she went to knock, she didn’t hear an answer or anything and she knew it wasn’t a typical “not home scenario”. She had a gut feeling that something was wrong, so she called the office to have them call the client. When the office couldn’t get a hold of the client, she went to the complex’s office to get help to see if she can be let in to make sure everything was okay.
Without any luck from the complex office, she finally flagged down a maintenance guy who knocked on the door as well and you could hear someone faintly calling for help. As the cleaning tech asked a passerby for his cell phone, the Maid to Shine Office Manager showed up and they called 911.
Finally, the maintenance guy let them in and they found the client laying on the floor. She told them that she has been on the floor for three days! The cleaning tech remained calm and got the client the help that she needed. If it weren’t for the cleaning tech showing up and knowing something was wrong, the client may not be alive today.
The client was rushed to the hospital and is doing much better. We still service the client once a week for cleaning. We are very blessed to be able to leave peace AND save lives!!
